GDT: GAME 68 | AVS @ SENS | One Foot In Front Of The Other - Avalanche, Matt Good | You Made Me Turn This Into A GDT Edition

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server

It's easy to be nostalgic for the talent the Sens used to carry in the old days, but the consistent and methodical approach to hockey is really what I miss.
Well we had men. These are not men these are coddled children.

Also we did copious amounts of cocaine back then

These kids def do the same but probably not to the same degree as our juggernaut teams

It is pretty funny that every time we start up the conversation about taking a divisional spot we end up going on a losing streak.
People chanting playoffs will never not shoot themselves in the foot there’s kids cannot handle that sort of thing

Jonathan freaking Drouin was skipping past all our players tonight
If there is a way to jettison Perron, and only sign Giroux to the smallest of salaries, that's the guy I'd like Staios to spend some dollars on (not a whole bunch, but enough to get him for a few years).

Well I wouldn’t do that.

He’s struggled mentally and on a team with not much offensive talent he will be counted on and that comes with fan expectation. Hes shown he legit can’t handle that and needs prolonged time off when he’s expected to contribute in any significant way.

Just seems like the Sens thought they were going to get an easy game with Colorado playing last night and they weren't ready to play when Colorado showed up. Maybe that first 10 minutes contributed to the over confidence. I hate using the word "lesson learned" because that lesson should have came against the Habs. They have a comfy cushion but there is still so much hockey left that we can be back on the outside looking in if we lose another 3 games. Next two games are very winnable teams that have hisorically given the sens fits but if we are a playoff team we gott walk away with 3 of the next 4 pts at least.
