If we are lucky. If our PK has been playing up to normal standards it wouldn't worry me as much. But give Washington a ton of chances on the PP they will just pick us apart.
 
Curious to see how they're going to honor Williams and Richards.

Duo tribute video? Richards makes it a little awkward, I think.

thank you, I started with this video and then went thru the last hour or so with other videos of 12 and 14 , that was such a great time to be a kings fan , funny but if you go back to some of the post from our negative nellies here for both years esp. 2012 its very similar to their posts for this year, we can't score , our third and fourth lines are terrible and our third pairings are pylons, I hope its the anonymity of the internet that makes them sound like such miserable people and not their real lives, this has been by far greatest group of kings/team we have ever had the privilege to watch and in a few years when we are rebuilding we can enjoy our cups and other runs thru the playoffs since 2010 that gave us hope and joy (and a little heartbreak)...........this team has shown up for every big game for years now and with the core o DD,AK,JQ,JC,AM, JM, TT, DK, TL AND DB YES DB I can't wait for the playoffs and expect them to show up big tonite 4-1 Kings GO KINGS GO
 
Darn, if only we could get anthem singer updates early in the day, I could add Pia to the meter as a good luck charm...but this is a bad omen...

I made the mistake of going through and reading that thread. :help:

One thing I gleaned from it all is how much casual HFBoarders don't actually watch Kings games, much less Doughty specifically. Their "research" is pulling up 5 minutes worth of score statistics for the current year, and previous years and then derive their drivel of why Doughty isn't an offensive producing D-man. And then questioning the countless hours of scouts and video tape coaches go through when evaluating certain players on teams. Clearly 5 minutes of internet scouring is superior!

Clearly they don't understand the system played here, or the individual sacrifices players make to play the system here.

One really neat mental exercise is to wonder what Drew's offensive production would be on another team in the league? Say, Dallas, Chicago, Washington....etc.

i've noticed something related over the years, fans over-cockiness before the game correlates strongly with a final result being a loss. it's like inviting karma to prove that she's a ***** once again. which might give us some hope, it's an easy going gdt so far.
 
Kings have a 20 point lead over 4th place. Not expecting much tonight to be honest.
