Plus, long gone are the days of regional coverage where a network has 3 or so games on at the same time and depending on where you lived determined which game you got and what announcers called it.

It was a matter of time before Kane got Eric Staal'ed. I don't expect that to last too long though.

Today is such an important game to right the ship. WC1 is a good possibility if we play Pitt like we have recently, but wouldn't be the end of the world to play Carolina or NJD in round 1. We would be playing either of them anyway. Everyone should be fired if we drop to WC2, doubtful.

I disagree with you there but it's all a matter of opinion anyway. I think TNT's coverage is better than ESPN as a whole.

Hopefully the third line plays some more with Kane on it. I feel like they've been skipped in the rotation quite often since Kane came onboard and having players go cold is no good. Spreading out the minutes will also be good to keep legs fresher with this god awful scheduling.
