Local reports that it was an EA-18 Growler (the F-18 airframe electronics warfare aircraft). Glad to hear the crew were rescued.

In other news, my trivia team has closed to within 16 points of the league leaders despite placing third this week. We were down five of our regulars (there is no limit on team size, we usually have about 11).

I'm also starting to really like Brave ( "new" browser I've downloaded and started using). Seems to curtail a ton of that stuff.

I have friends who use that since it doesn’t interfere with digital TTRPG interfaces as much as other browsers do.

Brave + the plugin uBlock Origin, also does a good job of blocking all the ads on Youtube as well.
