Looks like he is finding his NhL feet now. For a team building from the draft I really liked the Thompson trade for the reason it meant this role would go to Evans. His to lose now

I think he'll be a very good bottom six player. I know he puts up decent AHL numbers but not sure if that'll ever translate to the NHL.

Might be weird not having to sign or trade for a new fourth line centre every few months if he sticks around.
