Smith is not in the raceI wonder if Smith joining the race will have any affect on Celebrini chances of winning.

Barclay Goodrow is no longer an NHL quality player. He's aged out of that. I wouldn't be opposed to buying him out, though it will make reaching the cap floor more difficult next year - maybe we should just bury him. Also, can we pleeeeeease sit goodrow? I love the guy, don't get me wrong. But good god, it seems like every time he is on the ice, bad bad bad things happen. And that cant happen for a 4th liner.
Deja Vu on Vlasic discussions. The likely reality is that he's still in the lineup and depending on how well others play, he will see some press box time but not as much as many on these boards would hope.Barclay Goodrow is no longer an NHL quality player. One of those jobs is the head coach
A fan favorite was just traded. This team needs as many fan favorite players as possible to get butts in seats. Now Eklund looked like he was sulking all game yesterday. It’s not a good look. I am concerned if things don’t start turning around two seasons from now that San Jose could lose the Sharks. A Buffalo, Detroit or Ottawa level of suck won’t last in the Bay Area.Randy's made mistakes for a couple of years now. How is this morphing into Plattner looking to sell speculation?
It's like the trade deadline happened and everyone lost their minds.
The San Francisco Bay Area is one of the most phenomenally wealthy places on Earth, with a huge population, and the Sharks have 100% control over its hockey market and the surrounding area.A fan favorite was just traded. Sharks attendance has been trending down since 2016 and completely fell off a cliff the last few years. If they continue being a bottom 8 team they won’t have any fans left. The San Francisco Bay Area is one of the most phenomenally wealthy places on Earth, with a huge population, and the Sharks have 100% control over its hockey market and the surrounding area.
What other market can potentially match that? Houston and Atlanta are the only two I can think of even close.

Yes, they suck. When they get better, attendance will go up.Sharks attendance has been trending down since 2016 and completely fell off a cliff the last few years. If they continue being a bottom 8 team they won’t have any fans left.
Zetterlund. If you read outside this forum such as Reddit and twitter it’s a resounding yes that he was a fan favorite.Who was the fan favorite that was just traded?
They better get better quickly. Five or eight more years of this won’t suffice.Yes, they suck. When they get better, attendance will go up.

I'm sure that many people liked him, but he's no Burns, Thornton, Marleau, Couture, Pavelski etc. As others have stated, his departure isn't that powerful.Zetterlund. If you read outside this forum such as Reddit and twitter it’s a resounding yes that he was a fan favorite.
