It's crazy that our need pre-deadline was scoring RW, we went out and got Kane and Tarasenko and we f***ing stink ever since they've been here.

We had other needs as well like maybe adding a D who could also result in subtraction of Harpur.

The problem in hindsight with adding guys like tarasenko and Kane is neither are forechecker or good at winning 50/50 pucks and so for a team that sucks coming out of their end with puck control you have to rely more on dump-ins and area passes that guys skate into. Those two really aren't going to help in that area. It's just poor roster construction unfortunately.

They gave up 10 goals last game, had a feeling this would happen. Still have one more period to expose them, they are not a good team defensively and their goaltending is shaky, need to challenge them.

Nearly every roster move upfront has been to placate Panarin and not much has worked.

This is exactly it. I just don't see how you can win not being able to win puck battles deep in the oppositions zone. The kid line isn't even doing it now. I still have a little more faith in Tarasenko being able to win those puck battles than Kane that's for sure.

Panarin/Kane/Tarasenko need someone to get the puck to them in space. None of them are really tremendous puck carriers through the neutral zone at this point in their careers. We needed to add one of Kane and Tarasenko and a PMD instead of both of Kane and Tarasenko and no PMD.
