Toughness is fine but you have to be able to play the game firstly and Zadarov can’t . He’s got the IQ of a rabbit and don’t tell me he can skate . He can move well after he has a few strides but he’s glacial in every other skating skill . He’s got no maneuverability or lateral movement .
You are insulting rabbits. No excuse for that last play.

With all due respect to the tough hockey is winning and entertaining hockey people, Zadarov is still third in the league in turnovers I think, and many of them are killers. Those five years are five years too many. He is one of the least efficient /technically sound regular d I have ever seen. That is not hyperbole even. He makes me miss Kevan Miller, and Rick Smith. Heck, he might even make me miss John Blum.

Edit: He was waiting for the diagonal lane like Chara used to but he has neither the patience nor hands to do it.
Dude. His stick exploded, lol.

Some things in life are just unexplainable.

This team was doomed to mediocrity, at times in crushing ways, from the start.

I don’t believe in “making your own luck”.

I maintain that the difference between a great team and a mediocre team is often simply 100 or so lucky or unlucky bounces over the course of a 6-9 month long season.

Play out the string, collect some new talent and hope the hockey gods smile on us next season.

If Tonto was as bad a scout as the ones employed by the B's, the Lone Ranger would have suffered an early death.

We’re being pretty rough on zad for his stick blowing up, that cross ice pass is pretty high percentage generally

This year, the way things have gone….if he passed it up the boards, it would have bounced off a stanchion directly to another Bruin, shattering his stick, sending a shard directly into Korpisalo’s eye, blinding him for life while a Cane easily tucked the puck into the net.

So, in reality Zadorov saved Korpisalo’s career tonight.

Sucks to lose that way, for both players and fans. So 2025 Bruins. But overall quite happy with that. Showed some fight, matched it for 60 mins with one of the best teams in the conference, saw some more Geekie excellence, ultimately lost and ensured 0 points to keep the slide down the table going. "Good" result.

Okay , forget about that play has he been a good addition this year? Money well spent .
He’s probably a million dollars overpaid.

That said, ultimately he’s been OK. He’s been forced up in the lineup and relied on for heavy minutes in the absence of McAvoy and Lindholm.

You can count on your hand how many players have been good this year.
