Well vally said it the other day. His stance is so much wider than last year. If that’s the case he’s giving up so much of the top of the net. I don’t know why this isn’t being corrected. But I’ve never seen him beat clean like this so often. Just terrible goaltending all year from him mostly
Definitely giving up a lot more top shelf goals than last year.

They're so slow and boring.

Throwing grit at it didn't work.

Throwing skill at it isn't working either.

Kane is one of the most entertaining players ever and has all-time ability to play with speed. He got sucked right into the hole.

Something internal is broken whether you think it's the coach or otherwise.
Kane was always my favorite non Rangers player and I can't believe this is what we have reduced him to

He’s getting beat cleanly on clear sight shots every single game.

Idk how him and Benny aren’t 5 alarm fire fixing this. His stance being wide and giving up so much more up top and impacting his movements just screams a goalie who has zero confidence in his game.

He’s torpedoing this team and that’s not hyperbole.

He proved last year in the playoffs that he isn’t mentally weak.

The distraction of a new born however is very real.

… wait, so he’s a human being?

I have a 10 month old. He’s the best thing ever. My wife and I have also had more existential crisis’ and questioned our relationship these past 8 months or so than ever before.

And we’re 10 years older than Igor. Now it’s still a disappointing season. It’s also still like top 10-15 in the league. Among the best of the best. Do we need him to be the top notch Igor? Yes. We’re kind of built around him being that good. But does he get to have an off season, in which he’s still somewhere around top 15 in the world? Sure. If he doesn’t bounce back, it’s a different convo. I don’t think he lost his ability or drive or focus. He’ll be fine long term.

Truths;

The Rangers are in collapse mode

Shesterkin is closer to Georgiev than he is Henrik

Pat Kane is an introverted headcase

They don’t play an up tempo game which is what I heard Gallant plays when he was hired. It’s been the opposite of that.

I’d like to say it’s not the coach and that it’s something deeper but for the talent we had at the time I felt like under AV they at least played fast. They were always on the rush with that team.

It's not only that he's wide and dropping... he's wide, dropping and playing much deeper.

It's not the players...it's the coach. We have the best top 9 in the league and this is the level GG has them playing.

You guys watching Patrick Lame back check? He's the only Ranger I've ever seen behind Panarin.

Shesty- uh oh.
