I'm really pissed and really down on this team. Playing this shitty against this shit team after 5 days off where you can gather your legs is inexcussable. I better see some high octane coked up hockey in the second and I want relentless waves of angry play.

Well vally said it the other day. His stance is so much wider than last year. If that’s the case he’s giving up so much of the top of the net. I don’t know why this isn’t being corrected. But I’ve never seen him beat clean like this so often. Just terrible goaltending all year from him mostly

Blame Miller for his horrific pinch before the second goal, not for Igor not being able to stop a 2 on 1.

Blame the horrific defensive coverage on the 1st goal that left a wide open shot from the slot.

I mean I agree the defense has been shitty but good goalies make saves they shouldn't. hence the stat "goals saved above expected"

First period was rough, defensively a mess. Defense more than offense benefits from frequent games. The short break has been hurting them. That said I am confident they will turn it around and win against this minor league team. Next few games will be much better from the get-go.

These bottom teams are not to be taken lightly post TDL. Players are playing for jobs and/or contracts next year, there is not as much pressure when you know the playoffs are out of reach. Rangers are in a rut, no doubt, but better now than in April. Just gotta get out of the funk.
