Shesterkin is a mental midget. He may as well be Reiner or something. Good for him for last season but he isn’t carrying this team through the playoffs.

According to this board if God forbid a Ranger that's not the goalie makes a mistake it doesn't matter what the goalie does it's NEVER his fault. One good chance against and it's a goal against. Shesterkin can't carry a junior team at this point.

I told everyone this and I was derided. The kid line doesn't exist for the team's benefit or the benefit of those players. It exists because Gallant is scared to do anything else with those three players. It's his safety valve. He's like a father who is really scared to give his teenage daughter the keys to the car for the first time. He knows eventually he will have to do it and most likely everything will be OK but he's going to do everything he can to delay actually doing it as long as possible. It's so much easier to just roll Kane/Panarin out there because at least that's something that worked years ago.

Or maybe it’s because when the kids are split up they are ass and sometimes when they play together they are decent.

Were not being physical but were not at full strength. If 10 games from now we are like this I will worry but this is a game we are punting. It doesn't really matter if we win 5-0 or lose 5-0. You can't make any evaluations from this game other than we still allow people to crash the net without consequences.

I think we’d beat Carolina again. We always play Toronto well. NJ is a toss up.

Tampa we probably lose to in 6 or 7, and Boston we get blown out.
