Some big plays by our best players, not always scoring plays but you can tell they are feeling it.

That rush by Sanderson to beat 4 rangers for the chance at the start of the period, the cut back by Stu to just drive right down mainstreet for a chance? These guys knew it was time to step up their game

Super impressive game by Stutzle. Flying out there, battling, and processing his time and space really well. Making great touches all over the ice, tons of zone entries. 23:32 of ice time.

Grieg over 21 mins as well, he's Greens Swiss army knife player.

For real. Mine was a hyperextension. I couldnt imagine doing that in a knee-on-knee collision.
I’ve had a lot of friends tear their ligaments playing soccer. Sometimes very low key plays lol. Non contact. Crazy.

A few times I was like “should I just stop playing “ lol.

A few defensive break downs, but the team looked really good. Lots of energy for an afternoon game, which can be a struggle sometimes. Great comeback and great win.

I jumped up to catch the ball from a corner kick.

Someone tried to jump up to head it at the same time and booted me in the knee… accidentally on purpose probably.

Second time, and far worse, was whilst skiing. Last run of the week, I can see the coach in the distance, I’m probably 50 metres from the ski lift to take us down to it.

Hit a molehill, top half of my leg is straight, bottom half goes left and right. Jesus Christ that was the worst I’ve ever felt.

I’ll admit, I didn’t think we had a chance down 3-1, and was wishing the game wasn’t early on a Saturday with the next game Monday.

But what a finish!

And what an attack by Sandy on the PP, that would have been awesome if he scored.

I hope now people REALLY start believing in this team. Was distressing reading comments throughout here where it was quite often just dumping on your favourite whipping boy, or crying about not showing up in a "must win" game.

This team has been really good for most of the year, the schedule has been brutal, and there have been key injuries which couldn't be addressed properly with the lack of depth left behind by Dorion. There's been a few stinkers along the way, but every team has those, and Ottawa has continued to show perseverance throughout.

This is a playoff team. The must win games are for everybody else trying to keep up now.

This team has had a huge weakness all season long though : production 5 on 5. We were 32nd before the game... meaning that every single team scored more 5 on 5 goals than the Sens so far this year. Hopefully we start seeing this changing with the moves Staios did

And that is the point, Dorion's mess has left this team incomplete and with glaring weaknesses. The encouraging thing is that Staios seems very competent and able to use CREATIVITY to improve this team, not an easy command with how bare Dorion left the farm. This is reminiscent of what Muckler did back then, except that we were drafting late as the Sens were a true contender. Dorion teams didn't even sniff the playoffs

That's how BAD he was as a GM

We have the tie breaker on NYR, MTL, and Detroit, so that effectively adds another point on to our buffer.

If we beat Detroit in regulation, that will be massive.

We have 2 games left against Detroit, 2 against Montreal, and 3 against Columbus. Those are all "4 point" games because we add 2 points and also take 2 points away.

Similar to how Tampa pulled away from us by winning those two straight games. If it was reversed and we won those two games, we'd be a point behind them instead of 9 points behind. The games against those three teams should all be looked at as possible play-in games for the playoffs.
