All depends on which stage of sleep you wake up to.There have been nights where I got 7-8 hours of sleep and didn't feel as good as a night where I got 5-6.
I hope that you graduate & that things get better for you. Is it possible to take less courses in a semester? It may add a year to your studies but I found it to be worthwhile overall.

Cant remember the last time I got 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep. What a luxury.There have been nights where I got 7-8 hours of sleep and didn't feel as good as a night where I got 5-6.
I chug like a quarter bottle of melatonin pills (because I have an insanely high drug tolerance due to being tall/big af) and throw on a white noise show like Family Guy or Top Gear and that usually gets it done for meI just popped 3 melatonin gummies, it works pretty good. Should be primed to sleep after the third.

My rem sleep numbers are really strong on most nights and now granted, it's only data from a fitbit so I don't know how accurate it really is. I am at my best though with good rem numbers.All depends on which stage of sleep you wake up to.
All I can say then is good luck & try to get sleep wherever you can.I did cancel a class, but I fear the damage has been done in the past two years. Im also 30 and the career change is long and tedious and i cannot wait to get it over with.
Somehow I cant help but feel there should be a better way for mature students than to spend years on a bench with 20 years old but Id just be whining at this point, lol.
