Playing with Muzzin is a great challenge for Doughty! Covered Muzz's flubs about 3 or 4 times today.
If we could get someone for Muzzin, that'd be great. Especially if we can get a good defenseman for Drew to be paired with.
I'd be so happy if this was the last we saw of Muzzin. The last time I celebrated a players' departure was when they got rid of LOLBarbera.
I don't understand how people can still defend him? He's up there with Corvo for Kings defensemen who don't really play d.
Good good win! But my goodness Muzzin is sooo stinken aweful! Muzzin for a bag of pucks! Do it Dean!
The last time the Kings iced a dman who was as inept as Muzzin was Randy Jones. They have no place playing top 4 minutes, and the coaching staff is slowly realizing this by reducing his minutes.
lol @ this place - a couple days ago everyone wanted to trade Voynov, now it's Muzzin's turn. Both times after a win.
Pearson looked much better today, hopefully he's starting to get acclimated to the NHL game. Keep moving your feet Tanner
Quick is a wall that only Regehr can penetrate
Felt like more of a solid road type victory, but I'll take it any way we can get it
my drunk ass at my bros party would like to say **** yeah kings!!

Muzzin is not a top pairing defenseman that's for sure, but sorry to tell some of you, he is better overall than Martinez.
I would include Muzzin in any trade that brought the Kings a legit partner for Doughty though.
Muzzin's highs may be higher than Martinez's, but his lows are also incredibly lower.

Maybe, but we'll never know that till Martinez is shipped to another team. Martinez has never gotten an extended look off the bottom pairing. Would be nice to see what he can do. Most underrated guy on our roster both by Kings fans and around the league. He's gonna go somewhere and be a fantastic 2nd pairing dman and make that team really happy.
All stuff that can be corrected with more experience or by playing in situations that are more appropriate for this stage of his development.

Can agree with this. It's clear Muzzin has the higher ceiling--can he eliminate the brain-deadery?
I don't understand where people say Muzzin has a higher ceiling. What exactly has he shown that he is capable of playing better than what he is already showing? He's absolutely terrible. For everyone 1 good play he makes, he has 3 bad ones right behind it.
If he ain't scoring, he is worthless.
I want to know people's thoughts on this, but I want to make the outlandish claim that I think the reason our powerplay is so bad has a lot to do with Drew Doughty. He is not a good PP QB.
Quick should have had a shutout. Thanks a lot Papa Regehr.
A lot of you are forgetting he had the assist on the Richard's goal (returning the favor for the Columbus game), played a solid game today, and has four points in his last four games.
