Still need more goals, but defense (except Muzzin) and Quick still standing tall. I think the extra work in the Olympics is going to springboard Quick down the stretch and into the playoffs.

The last time the Kings iced a dman who was as inept as Muzzin was Randy Jones. They have no place playing top 4 minutes, and the coaching staff is slowly realizing this by reducing his minutes.

Best game for Pearson by far. DD and RR were great. Muffin sucks. PP sucks.

I was there in Premiere 1! Quick was solid as always, Martinez and Pearson both played awesome. Good win!

Pearson looked good.... The kid is pretty fast. If he starts clicking with Carter their speed could work well together on the rush.

Muzzin... it'd be nice if he could have a year or 2 on the lower pairings before just being thrown out on the top pair. Just don't think the Kings should dump him without giving him a chance to develop.

Muzzin was pretty average in the AHL already. I've never liked him but some said to give him some time. He just doesnt have it, never had, never will. Kings traded Hickey instead of him. Hickey is no world beater by any means but he's more than solid (+1 after a 6-1 loss tonight and 20 minutes of ice-time). They should have kept him and his skating too. Ask any Islander fan how they think of him.

Muzzin does have some strenghts, but defending is the main task for a defender.

Pearson looked like a player today. 100x better when he moves his feet.

Quickie was big, made a lot of important saves look casual.

Still need more scoring punch but I'll take that win. Had stretches of looking much better followed by the usual struggles with a speed team (dominate until odd-man-break).
