Great, gritty win, with some good luck to make up for last night's misfortune. Loved the 3rd period we played in particular. Nice to see Kraychee score one at the end - he's been competing hard.

Good for Cassidy and the boys. I've been disgusted with Doby's performance since returning but Butch seems to know what to say and when. Pasta is turning into a star in the making and Carlo shows no anxiety no matter who he's up against. Krejci has pulled himself up by the bootstraps and elevated himself back to where he belongs, a true #1/2 center! All in all, great game, great coaching, great results!:handclap::handclap::handclap:

Chara has really, really impressed me lately, and seems to be enjoying a resurgence this season. It's like he's turned back the clock - he's not looking exhausted and making poor plays with the puck like in recent years. He's looking extremely solid out there.

Big win to keep pace. Great effort from Dobby.

I like this Claudeless team.....5-1 since he departed.

Hoping for another win next game in Dallas.

Huge to get a win by Dobby. If he gets his confidence going, that can be huge for this team and Rask's mental health.

Great jobs by Krejci, Marchand, Celery and Pasta.

Celery - Crunchee - Pasta ?

Great to see that both Marchy and Pasta will likely hit 30+ goals this season.

Solid veteran play by DoMo to get the EN.

Maybe Dobby earned himself a start against Arizona ?

Khudobin doesn't want to go to the KHL

Can't say that I blame him!

I used to loathe the Bruins dominating play but failing to score; but the Kings may be even worse.

If you bump into your friend that plays the organ at Staples, tell him his song selection was great tonight. (My memory may be off, but I seem to recall you meeting him in Russia.)

I'm going to say this here:

Lots of people complained about Claude not giving Colin Miller chances and letting him play so he can develop. People even said that now that Cassidy is coach, Colin Miller will be playing more minutes and given more opportunities.

He's averaging way less ice time under Bruce Cassidy. And tonight (he didn't play bad) he played 10 minutes.

People also complained that Claude used the 4th line at times when he "shouldn't have." Bruce Cassidy is giving Moore and Schaller/Nash loads of ice time for 4th liners.

Just saying

Since Cassidy took over

The Spooner line is now the 4th line by ice time and the Moore line is now the 3rd line by ice time

He also Puts Schaller/Nash with Krejci late in 3rd periods something people ripped Claude for doing

And tonight In the last 8 mins he basically just rolled

Chara McQuaid
Carlo K Miller

On D

Colin Miller was benched the last 10 mins or so of the game and Krug got benched the last 5 mins until we got the 1st empty netter

Cassidy won't get crap for doing this though like Claude did until we lose

I hope we keep winning though I like Cassidy so far

I will tell him that. He is not only the organist but the DJ - He gave up the Lakers job when the Dodgers hired him but the Kings come first for him.

Exactly.

I'm glad we're winning, but this team is going to crash hard with this bad defence and no structure under Bruce Cassidy.

Out on a limb.
It was nice to see the boys bounce back with a better defensive effort tonight and have our goalie outplay the other goalie for a change.

Unfortunate to see Cehlariks "first" goal taken away by yet another successful offside challenge. Damn do I hate those...

Krejcis line was the most dangerous line again tonight. It's just a matter of time until they start scoring on their chances. Krejci also had his best game in a while at bothe ends of the rink. He had some great back checks that prevented solid scoring opportunities.

And I liked BC's bench management. When the Kings had their 3rd period push to tie the game he had big boys on d on the ice. Didn't see as much of Chiller or Krug even though they both had solid games the Kings have a heavy forecheck.

Nothing to complain about tonight!

For those wondering what the South Park reference in thread title is about.

For years the unofficial cheerleader of the Kings on the scoreboard at Staples Center has been Cartman from South Park.

Staples Center is located in the South Park neighborhood of LA.

Thanks, i was wondering what Fairplay CO has to do with Los Angeles. Lovely neighborhood i am sure, wouldn't mind a taste of California's weather for a day or two.

Great win.

Hell baby
The Bruins defence is not good. Glad they won but Sweeney needs to get this fixed in off season. Enough is enough.

I don't think he needs to do anything other than maybe a 1 or 2 yr stopgap like Oduya (if he's playing well Idk)and moving one or both of mcquaid/K.Miller

Carlo will be have a year under his belt, Krug is good, chara is good, and I think the remaining group of defenseman can round that out (one of mcquaid-k.miller//C.Miller/O'Gara/Lauzon/Grzelcyk/Zboril/even a Cross)

Great win tonight. Successful west coast swing

4 of 6 points in California. Mission accomplished!

Great win and now the Bruins management needs to fix one of the holes and go for the Atlantic division title and home ice. Montreal is in a free-fall, Toronto is starting to show signs of fatigue, Ottawa is full of injuries and the Bruins are well-rested with ample amounts of assets to add to this core.

Best California trip in 5 years.

The way it is looking now the Atlantic winner would play Columbus.

3 weeks ago it looked liked a a loss season........now there is hope.

Huge win in back to back against a desperate team. For my money the signature win of the season.

Pastrnak with gwg says it all for this season.

Thrilled with the California swing and amazing results so far with Cassidy.
