So in other words, he is due to be a healthy scratch.

If he brings it consistently, he'll stick in the lineup. The blue line is just too bad and inconsistent for even just a consistently solid 3rd pairing guy to be kept out of the lineup. That play against Anderson on the forecheck is probably the best any of our defensemen have played behind the goal line in that sort of spot. Nobody can really hold off oncoming forecheckers in general much less someone as strong as Anderson and he just fended him off and swept the puck with one-hand through to his outlet. It was an incredibly strong play.
