He was just never very good to begin with. Detroit doesn't seem to miss him at all.

Can we trade Thrun for a bag of rocks? I bet the Rocks would be more productive than Thrun is.

Grier really needs to work on Defense in the offseason. If Schaffer is gone by the time the Sharks pick (If they don't get the first), then take the second best defensemen. They don't really need any more forwards. They probably should get a goalie though, unless Vanachek and Askorav are the future. I don't think I want Georgiev on this team next season.

Excellent pass from Smith. Zetterlund almost bungled that one...the more I watch him, the more I think that Zetterlund is an excellent 3rd-liner on a competitive team.

It feels like Thrun is following the path of numerous promising young defensemen who couldn't accept their own limitations.
