Well NHL Edge Team vs Team is interesting:
- Habs have the faster skaters, but have skated less distance total (thanks to all those PKs I bet).
- Habs have 1 more goals than the Devils, more shots on nets and a measly 1.1% better at shooting percentage
- Devils have more perimeter shots than the Habs.
NJ goalies don't looks that good too.

NHL also shouldn't schedule 1 game on a Monday and one game on Wedensday like they are this week. Just doesn't make much sense for growing the game.

Im assuming its not Allen Walsh or else there definitely would have been a public comment about this. My bet is he starts against Columbus. Giving him a start against the Devils is basically throwing him to the wolves.

Not to lose him for nothing on waivers.
The rumors are that teams had interest in him but the offers weren't very good and involved salary coming back with term. Most teams who are contenders who are interested in Anderson couldn't make it work in the flat cap.
I thought we would be lucky to get 1 point out of this B2B and it would come from Buffalo. We ended up with two. Not holding out much hope for tonight.

Cool to see Primeau get a shot. Good call by whoever pointed out they left Primeau in MTL so he can prep for tonight.
I would love to see what hockey would be like with a change where teams could carry 3 goalies (possibly to compensate for a longer schedule?). It would be interesting to see teams adapt and have a bullpen of sorts with two backups. I could see a team with strong goaltending signing a vet who wants to win a cup, and teams with 3 good young ones could create some interesting trade scenarios. And more players would get to play. It's so hard being a goalie when there's only two chairs. Daydreaming again....
I'm going to miss most of this game because I'm going to the dentist...and I think it will be less painful than seeing NJ rip us apart haha. 2nd game of a b2b and a tough opponent like the devils will be a L, right?

Literally where my anxiety began.
I had to look up that horse reference and it did not disappoint.
Computer generated it's like they accept the first permutation it spits out instead of looking for those types of anomalies and rejecting it.
I never understood why Hockey doesn't take precedence in the buildings and work everything else around a balanced schedule for all.
I guess the only venue that has no issues with "Events" is Mullett Arena.
One thing is for sure we do better when we win the first one.
