Sorry I meant OHL, he had 4 fights in OHL, 1 in Traverse City Tourney and 1 in Pre-season. Since then, 1 NHL fight, he's a big strong boy and let's guys punch him in the mouth with their gloves all the time.

It seems unfair to put it all on the coach when JK and JD are the ones putting the team together, but I guess life is unfair. Still, the rosters of years gone by had far less talent and payroll and everyone looks absolutely lost. DougieMac is sitting somewhere with a s----eating grin of self-satisfaction on his face.

The thing is, this is a roster that is capable of competing. You can't fire the whole roster ... you also can't trade the whole roster. Someone has to be the fall guy, and in this scenario it's always the coach.

A new coach means a new system, and a new system for this talented group could make all the difference in the world. So for these reasons, you can't fire the GM until you have allowed the GM to pick a coach to run the roster he's put together.

I think there will be a change, very soon. I don't think many people are going to like what happens.

Oh sure, like I've ever passed up a chance to say "I told you so".

There are only two ways to ensure that I won't be obnoxious in a given situation:
- Find a way to travel backwards in time to make sure that I'm not left as a middle kid, or
- Wait until I say something wrong.

Since the latter situation has never happened, someone needs to get on that time machine in a hurry.
