Yeah. Watching this game I see 80% of the forwards doing flat out nothing and f***ing sucking. A whole buncha Browns and Arvids out there. Both hopeless, again, in this game but with good company.

Also Nuge wouldn't be bad to show up for the season by March. You know.. what another casper the ghost performance by Nuge on this trip. He's more MIA than I was.

meh. We have a ton of forwards now that are old, slow and losing puck battles or races to the puck all over. Better forward roster last season.

The basic picture of this matchup is Arvid getting drilled into the boards, or Brown getting drilled into the boards, or Nuge being easily bumped off pucks. We're losing physical battle badly anytime our top players are not on ice.

He absolutely had input of who he wanted. He wants defense over everything else. Offensive creativity gets you benched

Jeff Skinner is undoubtedly a flawed player but man I feel like he could have been an asset if hadn’t been mismanaged. The team needed a plus finisher and he’s showed that even this year. Clearly management and the coach staff were not aligned on this player.

Florida saw some success with a similar player in Tarasenko but he was properly handled and insulated.

Neither of us know this for sure. I can't even remotely imagine an NHL coach saying hey go get me Skinner, Arvid, and Pods. I can't.

Ironically the club thought they were going for offence with those players injected. Arvid and Skinner are high event players. Neither good defensively. Both throw pucks away for fun or get beat on pucks in critical areas.

They knew he was a defensive liability when they got him, how could you not. They likely thought they could improve that but the damage is done with him.

I’m still not sold on him but there are bigger problems than him. Need Hyman to pick it up and RNH needs to find some semblance of a game.

hes looked better since the Drai goal, but he was total shit before it so thats not saying much.

I have extremely high expectations of him, because we know what he is and whats he's done. It all comes from love and not hate. Im wearing a McDavid authentic Pro jersey that was crested at Elite ( where the oilers get their team jerseys done).

Its frustrating tonight for me because of his last 5 games.
