It’s not that they’re losing, they played yesterday, traveled etc while Columbus was at home not playing. It’s that they’re getting killed.

Games like this are why this club goes entire f***ing lifetimes between cups. They just don't want to do what it takes to win.

I know people don't want us to complain about a team so high in the standings, but all fans really want is for their team to take steps forward. In the 36 years I've been watching this team, playing down to inferior opponents is not a new phenomenon; it's in their blood.

This core is content with the bridesmaid role.

The Rangers as they've shown most of the year have absolutely no f***ing heart. You have the opportunity to make a dent in NYR history and are playing an absolutely dreadful team and just f***ing no show.
Are you serious with this shit? How many games has this team come from behind. You cannot win every game. They haven't lost a game in a month. Good Lord.

Deep hole to climb out of.

Even harder when there’s not many that can be assed building a ladder.

The streak was great but today……yeeesh

That game against the flyers yesterday was practically a playoff game. Very physical, grinding game. Then we traveled to play CBJ. We're a bit worn out and you can see it. No one hustled on the back check there that led to the 4th goal. It is what it is. But we don't need to say the team sucks after winning 10 in a row. Even the weaknesses we can complain about weren't weaknesses that made us lose to the Avs or Dallas last week. I am annoyed watching this game, but it's not as bad overall. just bad today against a team no one cares about.
As Vally said, they got sucked into a track meet. Seems Columbus always does this to them. And, yeah, on a back to back theyre tired and their IQ drops and they want to take the night off and play fun and loose expecting their talent to come through

Rangers should stand pat or make small trades like Kaliyev. Until this team gets heart and soul players and when soft players that don’t care are gone like Mika Miller that is when they should go for it

BTW - one other thing. You know, before the salary cap 3 in 4 nights wasn't as big of a deal as it now. LIke these are games you used to be able to call up a few rookies and throw them in. Give some vets a blow. None of that happens in salary cap era. You can see the best lines are the bottom 6 because they're more well rested. We already over rely on our top 6 in big games. Asking them to claw back in this one against a team that doesn't matter, it's poor strategy in the big picture. I would roll the 3rd and 4th lines in the 3rd as much as possible.

Sure. But I’ll take high event hockey when down 2 with 20 to go. Better odds
If you're somebody who still wants to win this game, I see that argument.

I'm basically the Joker when it comes to the regular season at this point.

That's partially the Rangers piling up RS wins while being ass my entire adult life, and partially that it legitimately doesn't matter. Unless you're a bubble team, it's training camp for the playoffs.

I don't think we've looked that good in camp.

I'm annoyed with this play but whatever. We've seen them pull wins off and play like absolute kaka. Do I think they'll win this game? no. But I go in thinking they'll lose every game. I've be wrong a lot this season.

Which is why despite the long winning streak and being first in the standings I and I think many others are skeptical of their ability to make a deep playoff run. I want them to prove me wrong.
