That's not what it's about & you know it.

This is about setting a franchise record & the team literally playing horrid hockey for at least a week & having consistency issues. Low floors need to be raised if they're going anywhere in the playoffs.

It's ok to recognize issues & be pissed about this display.

I’m not thrilled with their play, but they’ve been hot since the All Star break, have won 10 games in a row, all while playing a lot of hockey in a short amount of time. These games happen.

The issue is not that they are losing this game, that is the least important problem. It’s irrelevant and has no bearing on the complaining.

Well, I think it's a contributing factor, but I agree. The team has some obvious flaws and probably more of them than a lot of the other top teams.

Still, you'd think with the positives (of which there have been many this last month), the general vibe would be a little bit nicer. At least not outright hostile.

What bothers me is that most of the people who criticize me because "we won and that's all that matters" will be absolutely f***ing toxic after this game if it keeps going the way it's going.

I thought only wins and losses mattered. They just won 10 out of 11. Everything is always so reactionary. After the 30, 40 years expereience some people have watching sports, they still can't do anything but react to the last thing they saw.

To be fair, I think he stepped out of the penalty box a split second before the 1st goal. Of course, his penalty was the reason we were down a man so he does take blame for that one too.

It depends on who's complaining. The reactionaries who shit on analytics "because we won" have no right to say boo to a f***ing goose after one loss. It's ideologically inconsistent.

Lots of people complain about the team always, even during a ten game streak, and have been pretty consistent about what they think.

They might see it but what are they going to do? Plus it’s not just their D. It’s the entire unit of 5 on the ice. They don’t forecheck well and they don’t clog up the NZ. That’s why they are the worst team in the league defending the rush.

The top two pairs have been an issue since last year, and there is no change so it’s hard to think they see it as a problem.

If they are all in, and the first rounder is in play, get Hanifin, give up your first and Othmann, and then sign Hanifin to an extension while trading Lindgren this summer.
