To me the entire team has been brutal tonight. What a buzz kill for the excitement to come back. Gotta see it live!

It's only one game but I really expected more from these guys. It's a division game, playoff implications and we're flat. Again, what a buzz kill.

I expected flatness (though didn't think it would be that bad, nor did I think NJ would come out like gangbusters) but that Henrique goal was a killer. We were headed into our groove and looked primed to tie it up.

TV guys said he was still hurt and won't be 100% until next season.

That alone makes it even harder to understand why he is playing.

I agree. I thought the PP would tie the game and we'd have 18 min in the third to put the foot on them. JJ simply wiffed and then there was no back door coverage. Frustrating to see them climb back in and give it away. Can't afford too many losses in these last 24 and it looks like we're going to start out giving one of those away. I figured 15-9 would be a minimum to get in. Starting with NJD and FLA I thought would be a good way to get some points for when we have to play the "tough" games...

We'll see but I don't like this feeling right now.

Murray looks like a competent defenseman. Other than that, this is one of those games where they just look totally futile and overmatched. That shouldn't happen in these circumstances and against a team with whom they should be fairly even.
