Sharks are a tough team to defend. Chiller and Carlo held their own and made some very key plays to break up potential good scoring chances. Loving what those kids are bringing.

Both goalies were exceptional and kept this game much lower than it had any right to be with the chances by both teams.

That OT play though. Out played.

Incredible game. This team has looked 100% different since the change. The players are responding. They look engaged and energized. Finally fun to watch them again and they look like they're having fun too.

Rask is a beast. Pasta could of had 5 goals. We look prepared and ready for the game. Spooner has looked great too.

Let's keep the streak rolling.

What a way to start the stretch run!

The pace of the game was most entertaining.

Marchand one on one is as close as you can get to money in the bank.

I would hate to see how the B's would've done tonight without either of them!

Have to admit that the Cassidy Bruins are certainly more aesthetically pleasing than the Julien Bruins - at least through four games.

They seem to be playing at a faster tempo, and the offense doesn't seem as forced or as deliberate.

I have mixed feelings about the coaching change but these are big wins under Cassidy. And it's been great entertainment to watch.

Rask looks great after some rest. The goaltending on both sides made this a hell of a game.

Young Frankie Vatrano had himself one heck of a game. May not be shifty but in the third, he was just flying out there.

Another year or so of seasoning and you could be looking at an ideal third line wing.

I know it's only been 4 games but cant ask for much better out of Cassidy coming in here.

The line up changes look to be paying off, each line looks more energized.

Hell even Hayes was skating hard tonight...he still weighed Spooner and Vatrano down...just cause he isnt skilled, but I saw actual effort in his game.

Spooner looked so confident tonight, looks to have raised his game for Cassidy..was pretty obvious he didnt mesh well with Clode.

His speed directly lead to a few quality chances tonight, last one coming in OT right before that goal, Spooner swoops in and passes to Vatrano.

Cehlarik looked amazing again WOW...nobody was really talking about him being a possibility of stepping into a top 6 role but he looks like the real deal. Amazing passing, great vision and positioning....looks to be developing chemistry with Pasta. That line could have had a few goals tonight.

The D wasnt perfect but overall I was really happy with how they handled such a good team. Sharks are ****ing GOOD and pushed hard all night. The D gave up some chances but overall weathered the storm very well. Bend but dont break. I was happy with their performance WARTS N ALL especially coming off the bye week.

Rask was LIGHTS OUT and had to be. Kept us in the game all night.

I liked Carlo and C.Miller tonight too, both guys seemed to handle the pressure well. Not easy task for a rookie Carlo to go up against a Joe Thornton.

The chances were there, they never really fully went into "prevent" defense mode, even right till the last minutes, they were trading chances with the sharks not just sitting back and trying to preserve a point. THAT is a difference I do see from this team and Clode.

They didnt stop pushing even though they faced a really good sharks team that took over at points of this game...that didnt stop them, Pasta line almost scored a goal nearly every time they were on the ice in the 3rd period.

I like it.

4-0

I'm happy :)

That is 4 in a row for my daughter. She was home for the Sharks, Nucks and Habs and was at the game tonight. She is flying down to go to the next 2.

It sure is more fun when the B's win.

Your selling Vatrano short.

He's a very good 3rd line winger right now, and he has the potential to be even better.

He's a heck of a player. Whatever scout found him is earning his paycheque.

- This was an absolute must win ( as most will be from here on out ) and Rask was the man tonight. Huge stops at key moments, looked composed and followed the puck well all night long.

- The Krejci line was fantastic to watch. So many chances down low for Pasta and for a guy who I thought was more of a goal scorer, Cehlarik has shown a deft touch on his passes. The kid has some serious skill and once he finds his shot in the NHL, he and Pasta are going to make a lot of defenses look stupid.

- The Spooner line looked good all night long. Hayes is moving his feet and making much better decisions. Vatrano seems to have found that gear that was missing since he came back and Spooner is playing like a new player out there. It's obvious Cassidy trusts him and vice versa.

- I was not enthralled from the Bergeron line tonight. Obviously they won the game, but I found that their chances were dying quickly a lot and the flow was off. I'm hoping ( and I think the Bruins are too ) that Backes becomes the Recchi of that line, and while he had a couple of good moments, it just wasn't there tonight.

- I thought Carlo had his best game in weeks. Great stick tonight and used his body well and wasn't trying to do too much.

He was driving me nuts a few weeks ago with his poor defense and stupid decision making on passes. He has learned from his mistakes which is great to see. Tonight he avoided making bad passes a couple of times noticeably, and he made some solid plays in the d-zone, including a couple really nice backchecks that came at key times. He is progressing and hopefully continues to do so. Put another good winger with him and his center and I think it could be a dynamic line.

4 points behind the Habs. Watch this team end up in first place and have to go up against the Metro Wild Card team in Round 1. We do not want a first place finish.

Ottawa got hammered with injuries today. B's need to take advantage.
