Lot of milestones in this game... Marleau, Krug, Bergeron, and of course.... Hayes. :D

This is easily the happiest this board has been in over 2 years. No complaints right now.

Ever since Cassidy arrived, it's been a constant singalong of 'C'mon Get Happy.'

Oops, wrong Cassidy! ;)

Very good road game all around. Rask went toe-to-toe with Jones, Marchand's game winner was a beauty, and I am convincing myself Hayes' bank-shot-assist was 100% deliberate and was pure skill.

Late in the game I feared it could look like the Bruins of old - do everything but finish, then give up a late goal and lose. But the team's attitude seems so different and not willing to let that happen.

I know rest and recovery are good, but geez, they finally get on a roll and are bombarded with all these days off!

The Boston Bruins will win the Stanley cup MY COLUMN:

Let's make the playoffs first

This is the first time the Bruins have won 4 in a row since November, 2015 when they had a five game streak.

The Bruins are now in the LA area having flown into Long Beach after the game.

The team has 2 days off before playing in Anaheim on Wed and the next night in LA. and then they are off 2 days before playing in Dallas on Sunday afternoon. Does Rask start all 3 games or does Khudobin play one of the SoCal games? :dunno:

The team is in far better shape this morning than we thought possible only 2 weeks ago.

This is some of the most entertaining B's hockey in a while, that's for sure.

It's no coincidence that Carlo had a solid game after the week-long break. It's only ever been a question of physical & mental stamina for this guy.

I'd start Khudobin in Dallas. No matter who starts for Dallas, Khudobin will have the advantage. ;)

Kidding aside, I'd go Rask vs. Anaheim, Khudobin vs. LA (and take your chances), and Rask against Dallas. The Ducks games I've seen recently Gibson has been very good, and I think the B's have a better shot getting to Budaj.

Getting the win in the first game of a road trip like this is huge, it allows you play a little looser the rest of the way knowing you already got that first win. Due to the late start 9:30 here in Atlantic Canada, I only watched the first period, but really liked what I saw, Rask was solid and the Bruins could have had 3 or 4 more goals. Cehlarik continues to impress and he may just be the extra top 6 forward we needed and best part it comes from within the organization without trading away any assets and he is on an ELC win win win. We could be looking at a very dangerous top 9 group of forwards for any team to try and deal with. Last and certainly not least I absolutely love the way Cassidy is the anti-Claude with his style of constant pressure and cycling the puck down low, no sitting on the lead keep pushing the play, I have been wanting this for years.

What a game by the Bruins after the dreaded bye week! They picked up where they left off and instead of being rusty, they used the time to recover and energize...apparently what few teams have been able to accomplish.

The Bruins have surprised me, I was scared when CJ was let go but am thrilled with the outcome so far. Wow!! Such fun!! :handclap::handclap:

I let Rask go back to back. It's LA to Anaheim in terms of travel, he can handle it. I let Dobby face the worst PK in the NHL.

First ever 4 win streak in this season. Feels good!

pftt look at this bruins win and post win GDT is only 2 pages long..where are all the Clode haters beating their drums and their rant posts now??? TYPICAL! :sarcasm:

kidding aside, this has been a fun 4 games and I think us as fans have earned it for some of the games we had to put up with earlier in the year.

No more Schaller in top 6, no more Nash in the top 6. Those were some dark games.

When Clode had Nash play with Bergeron and Marchand. I thought he had gone bats**t crazy.

Bruins only the 4th team all year to win in regulation the game after the bye week. Well done.

Fourth team to win, full stop.

From the GDT, via VanIsle (not sure it was up to date, but the 3 part was): "Teams after the bye week are 3-12-4 and 0-8-3 in February."

Yeah let's not overuse Rask. He shouldn't see another B2B this season unless it's dire circumstances.

Khudobin won his last start. He should get one of these two So-Cal games.

Personally I give him Anaheim. There is just something about guys playing against their old clubs. Let Khudobin get some payback for the Ducks burying him in the minors last season.

Missed this one and I fully expected to wake up this morning to read/see the Sharks had handed the B`s their lunch after a bye week.

Sweet surprise though, hope the boys just keep it going. They`ll benefit from having some practice time prior to the Ducks who, I believe play Tuesday night
