Rask and Krejci ( usually no shows against the Habs ) also showed up .

Rask had a big save on a scramble and never even saw shot that caught his pad by Pacioretty uo 2-0 .Was a game changer.. Habs try and get alot of garbage jamming nets.Bruins attacked them though tonite .That was good to see. Powerplay for Bruins is scary to .

It feels so freaking good when we beat the Habs! Torey Krug has the heart of a lion!! What is with all these goals by defencemen? So much fun to see more players contributing!

Now they can rest up and heal, no doubt some are close to burn out and a week off will be crucial before going out to play the big Western games.... especially Tuukka.

The Habs are such a joke and losing PK has helped to take the swagger and circus out of the games against them. I am so glad he is gone!!

I feel good :handclap::handclap::handclap::handclap:

I had to drop my daughter off at a hotel near Logan. She has an early flight. She told me I should stay in Boston and drive back to NH tomorrow so that is what I am doing.

Anyone know how the roads are in Southern Nh?

Fun game

still here, LF,

PRETTY MUCH THIS STATE IS SURVIVING, this latest shot, despite possible hurricane force wind/heavy snow/should end around Noon, New Hampshire is open, or at least Gov Sununu says he hasn't or won't shut state offices..... every city/town here and statewide is closed;

HAVE 9" as of 6:40; expected around 15"

That Krejci goal was about as good of a set play as you can see.

it was a beaut. Much like the pastrnak goal from Thursday nite,
i loved how it had mtl all over the place.
reminded me of the savard pp goal in game 2 of the 09 playoffs.

you know its coming.. but no way we win last nite with claude behind the bench.

Big part of the game last nite was that 5 on 3 kill early in the game.

We have seen a lot of great things since Cassidy took over.

1. 3- straight wins at Home
2. Spooner playing great at both ends of the ice
3. Hayes even finally gets his 100th career point.
4. PP and PK are clicking
5. We beat the Habs at home with Rask getting a shutout.

Also this Cehlarik kid so far looks very good, if he can keep this level of play up no need to trade a bunch of assets for Landeskog. If they could get Duchene at a fair price maybe do it, but if not add another top 9 Forward that will cost less to acquire and a solid Backup and call it a day.

Great win, great performance.
Habs aren't exactly elite imho.
That said, I'm loving the offense and PP.

how come no thread on the main boards about that brutal high stick by Galchenyuk?
imagine if Marchy did that?

Now that Julien is gone I think the days of the Habs owning us are gone. They had his system completely figured out. Love the way this team is playing now, a lot of us feel that this team has underachieved, now we are seeing the talent being allowed to use their skills without the fear of being punished for mistakes.

Or stick to Chara groin???? That was brutal!

I guess Bruins fans were too busy calling 911....oh wait....never mind.

Habs fans are the absolute worst. I bet they have an excuse for both blatant dirty sticks.

Holy shorts! Was that a beat down.

Every Bruin was good.

Pasta playing with some grit.

Backes using that big body.

Krec looking like his old self

Spoons doing what he's supposed to do.

Krug he's a beauty.

Big test going out west against some heavy teams who like playing behind the dots. Last years trip didn't work out so well. I think the boys will be up to it.

I think the Habs fans will need a tissue..

Whoa, there, let's not get carried away. Hayes only scored his 99th. Otherwise they would have stopped the game and made a presentation.
Amazing, isn't it, that Pastrnak already has 100 in, what, two years +? Cehlarik already has half as many points this year as Jimmy.

So great, refreshing, gratifying to see this team, at the very least, start looking like a team serious about putting the past , recent BS vs the Habs behind them

Didn`t see our boys chasing the Habs, didn`t see the B`s take undisciplined penalty after another.

What I did see was the boys dictating the play, forcing the Habs into taking undisciplined penalties

Looks like this team is having fun. Been only 3 games and while I`m not yet ready to dig into the crow soup/buffet I have set out, I have now placed the napkin on my lap.

I try to be a fan who, when wrong, does his best to come on here and admit his wrongs. 3 games in and I`m shocked, honestly didn`t believe this team had the horses to play much of a different system than the one they were playing. They have so far and therefor, it`s necessary I come on here and admit it before I open the 7 PM`s I see I have this morning which most likely are fans stickin it to me")

Almost wish this bye week wasn`t happening

OT: Halifax is currently getting pounded by the white stuff, was worried that Mrs Odaat and I chose the wrong year to take our first real vacation as we just weren`t getting a typical winter, I don`t think that anymore:)

the positive thing about Hayes play in the last 3 games is he`s, at the very least, shown he can play a bit, and maybe, just maybe, there is a team out there who might feel he could be useful in some capacity to them via trade?

Happy for the boys and happy for Rask. Looks like a huge weight has been lifted. No more tight grips on sticks.

Although I was sad to see CJ go, what I did not realize is the amount of pressure the players were feeling because of the all the firing Claude talk.

I hope this continues...

I am overjoyed that the Bruins sent those Montreal mother****ers back home with their tails between their legs.

This win is good for 5 dancing bananas, my highest possible rating:
