I think he is playing a little banged up, he had a few awkward blocks the other game (struggled some to get off the ice on one of them), but even at 85% he is still a better option than most of the D.

After the first goal, Ed was looking to cover for him when they were out there, which doesn't usually need to happen.

There might be something going on physically with Mo, but he's so durable it's hard to tell. It is unusual though to see him get beat, clean as a whistle, twice in a couple weeks by Connor and now Rust. I thought on both occasions he was a little over-aggressive in his positioning/preparation for them, but maybe he is not 100 per cent. There is a ton of pressure on four guys -- Talbot, Mo/Ed, Larkin -- to be the solution for all things, and that won't end well if it continues.

I think he hurt one of his legs recently. When he skates, his posture is too upright. You have to bend your knees so that your skates can give you a strong lateral push. Mo is totally upright. To me that's a guy who's ankle or knee is bothering him and he's keeping the leg straight and "walking" around the ice instead of skating. Perhaps he should sit for a game or two to rehab it, but I imagine his iron man streak and the fact that the whole defense crumbles without him are keeping him in.

I honestly don't mind his and Ed's usage though. We need them to hold down the toughest minutes or it's a guaranteed L

3 stars of the game
Talbot, Kane and Edvidsson.
That goal by Edvidsson is a goalscorers goal. You don't see it often by a defenceman.

Seider can play better.

At this time last season we were a top 3 team at offense in the league. And we were far ahead in the standings. The schedule is far more difficult so far this season than the last one.

All considered, the team has been very solid

Glad for the W, but it is concerning how often they just sit back with just a 1 or 2 goal lead so often.

Glad Berggren got a goal, and Edvinsson's 1st GWG was good to see.

Yes, I hate the sit back garbage as well. Get up 2-0, playing maybe our best or second best game of the season, and then we just stop attacking minus a couple of players who try once in awhile. Like we get up by 1 or 2 and it is like Lalonde is like, "ok boys good job, now defence only please!" Not sure why that is a good plan, as we get outshot and blow a lead playing that way anyhow.

Please no more TNT broadcasts. The video and audio was so off it was horrible

Oh, so I wasn't the only one. It was like the sound was 0.5 seconds ahead of the video all night. They said scored everytime before the puck was in the net.
