Not even same stratosphere as Boldy. But I still think he merits a long look. You can count the better finishers than him on one hand.
I don’t think he’s even in the conversation in Guerin’s mind based on how he wants his players to play. There’s a hell of a lot more accomplished scorers that play involved hockey they will be looking at.

Is Faber gone or am I just not paying attention?

Never mind I'm just not paying attention
Honestly, I didn't notice him much in the 3rd period either. He just played a steady, quiet game, I think. And when you're ahead in the game, that's fine.

I think that'd be a mistake. It would remind me of when they left Bobby Ryan off the roster, and proceeded to have trouble scoring. I think, on a team full of fairly complete players, there's room for a single guy who is merely a supremely dangerous shot.

I can’t see scoring being an issue with that team. Kyle Connor can play the pure shooter role that Caufield would fill while also being a much better player for the team. This team projects to have a ton of fire power and the more interesting decisions will be who and how many people they choose to fill the grunt level roles. Don’t need someone like Caufield mucking up the works on the lower lines because he’s surely not in the top 9 on this team at wing.

Yeah I wasn't trying to criticize or anything, just making sure he wasn't injured like everyone else.

Rossi! Suck it hynes
I have to laugh because without reading this thread I had the exact same reaction lol. What are they doing with Rossi, almost like they are looking for excuses to pull Rossi from any sort of offensive opportunity whenever possible. It is mind boggling what they are doing. No PP1 even though Rossi is the exact fit for Zuccarello's spot. I honestly do not get it at all.

The Wild are clearly looking for their Mojo (pun intended?) right now. Even though they lost two of their top forwards pretty early they did not start this game well at all even before they were gone. Still grinding out the wins which is nice to see. Solid defensively most of the night with Brodin out. Excellent game by Gus he is the anchor of this team right now.
