I know everyone is sick of complaining about Krav. This isn't meant as complaining. What gives us a better chance to win today and in the future? Krav moved up so that top line is arguably worse, and an elite 4th line of Motte Goodrow and Vesey, or Vesey staying up making the first line better and a 4th line where we hold our breath at all times. I know what i'd prefer. It's the opposite of what GG wants.

GG has had the golden touch with in game adjustments....the naysayers are just 2nd guessing..GG likes poker....he has been hot recently with his line changes.

Better option than leshitshow, that’s for sure.

I’m really skeptical that his defensive numbers would remain the same in a 4th line role but nothing happens is 100000000x more preferable to bad things happen. The unknown is the better path to victory here than the known (leshitshow being horrible.)

Edit I mention Rooney and Mckegg only for the fact that we were supposed to upgrade from those plugs this year

I agree with that and I also don’t think he’s as good defensively as people make him out to be. I’ve just seen enough of Leshitshow, that I’m fine giving Kratsov a chance, even in a 4th line roll. I feel like I see Leshitshow falling or fumble f***ing the puck or both at the same time the entire shift.

Yup.

This stupid drama around Lesch is aggravating. My best guess is the coach liked something about him, so they got him, and now it's him or Kravtsov. Drury would like that Kravstov play. However, Coach doesn't want either Lesch or Krav so he plays Lesch in hopes Drury will fold & get another fourth liner. Or another right winger to slot in for Vesey & push Jimmy back to the fourth line.

It may well be that Coach knows Krav is the better of the two, even on the fourth line, but he thinks if he plays Krav it will lessen the pressure for Drury to get another player, so he benches him.

Till that happens paying fans are forced to watch a sub-optimal product. And we have to hear stupifying excuse narratives from the team about how Krav isn't really a 4th liner and how fabulous Vesey is.

that's been the issue with that line. It's one and done in the offensive zone. It's opportunistic and finds success off the rush predominantly. Kakko adds a major possession element to the line.

That's why I'd thought it be interesting to bump up Kakko and have Kravtsov slot in with Chytil and Laffy.

but apparently Lechyushsyn is more valuable than the Chosen One.
