A major is probably deserved. I don't think Rempe meant to hurt him. I don't think he hit him as hard as he could have. But he did contact the head on a vulnerable player. He could have held up.

I don't think he should have gotten the match penalty, but otherwise it's fine. He'll learn from it.

I think they have to take in account that he’s a massive human.

I hope it doesn’t make him timid

The height difference is just too great between 6'8.5 Rempe and 5'4 Bastian. You can't suspend just because the other guy is a foot and a half shorter.
