I really hope Suzuki is not putting his Ironman streak on a pedestal and refusing to rest to properly heal. I don’t think we can claim that it’s the captaincy pressure or contract.

I agree with the lackluster speed but it’s really the creativity that is missing in action. Beginning of the season he was creating scoring chances, making imaginative plays. Now it just seems like he’s along for the ride, making plays with his teammates but not driving his line.

That said it’s gotta be depressing this season with all the injuries, the deadwood veterans, the abysmal PP, etc.

Very unlikely. He's not in a Kessel situation where he's going to break a record for consecutive games. This is just the type of player he is. He's not a game-breaker, he's not going to be the play driver on his line, and he's likely never going to be an elite center. He is a very, very good player though.

Wasn't it last season during xmas that the only player without covid or injuries was Suzuki playing who was in our pro roster lolll

Most of what they are saying about these players being cleared or hurt or ready to return are pretty much just dreaming, No clue how many of the players are hurt and playing. No one will ever get a true story until the season is over.


Do you honestly believe that be interested to know what the true injury is?

I never knew a flu that required so many treatment days ahead of time.
