I said that when he got it. Savard would have been a better choice in a tanking season. Suzuki got the captaincy and is being paid 7.8 million this season and has not been consistent enough for my liking and that's not just about struggling to produce points either. If nursing an injury was the issue, he would have been sitting by now but that isn't the case. He is lucky because the media is giving the team a bit of a pass this year because it has been accepted that a rebuild is happening.
