If our young players- Caufield, Slaf, X, and Guhle were playing it would be worthwhile to watch. This team is a mess roster wise.

Caufield’s absence is so huge.

I can’t make my first trip to the Bell while he’s out. Next year…

Hughes almost has as many goals as Suzuki has points. I had hoped Suzuki would have had a much better year than he's having. 60 points isn't great @ $7.875m. He needs to get around 75 points consistently at that rate.

I had hoped he'd take a step into 70+ points, after getting better 3 consecutive years. But, he's stalled & worse he looks slow out there. Maybe he's bulked up too much, but I find his skating more of a concern than previous years. He doesn't seem to have that burst he could use to win puck battles anymore.

His season is even worse considering scoring is up.

Our 2 best players over last 5 games are Drouin & Harris. Hilarious.

I expect another big loss similar to Carolina & Toronto game. This lineup is awful.

I'm extremely disappointed in Suzuki. Ya the team sucks but he was a superstar like player at the start of the year and now he's really no better than Dvorak.

Maybe knowing he will make 7M+ a year for the next few years no matter what reduced the motivation. I hope it's not the case, but who knows.

As Tyson said, good thing (for the show, not for the tank) this is not Brodeur's (or Lemaire's) team anymore. This version of the Devils should be fun to watch unless they fall asleep playing against the Rocket.

I hope you're wrong. I work most evenings so I haven't seen most of the games. I see his stats and his low numbers since MoneyHand is out. I know CC never slowed down production. RPH is helping Su as I can see. That's why trying to get PLD must be a priority because Su alone as a good center is not enough. Dach is very good and promising tho. I can see PLD, followed by Su and Dach as #1, 2 and 3 centers.
And Dvorak sucks a lot. No wonder he is still with us cuz nobody wants him. It was a waste of a 1st round draft.

Yeah, I can understand Suzuki getting frustrated. Sounds like Savard has been a bit of a mentor for him. Savard seems to work well with kids, because he befriended PLD when he first started out, and also worked out with Guhle when he was training in Montreal this past summer. Guhle only has good things to say about Savard too.

It's been Suzi's worst year by far, while also his 1st year as captain.
