I like the way our PK has played lately aside from how we give the bumper all the room in the world to walk into a shooting position.

I think that's my main gripe. It makes both defenders down low put sticks in the centre lane giving the down low shooter all the time and space to do anything and everything they want.

These games against the Panthers really illustrate that we just have zero dawgs on the team. It's just perimeter-oriented dangle boys all the way down.

Tkachuk was going to the net and so was Stü. Our PP and PK looked terrible. The rest of the team sat this one out.

I will not stand for this stutzle slander crying because he doesn't match up against barkov is crazy. He just turned 23 he's got a lot of growing to do yet, and barkov is top 5 center in the league. This one hurts. I knew their chances weren't great tonight but I thought they'd come out pissed off and possibly play the best game of their season. Nope.

1 goal isn't going to get the job done against the defending champs.

After Florida broke the game open, there was no counter from Ottawa. I watched the Tampa Detroit game this afternoon. Tampa got a 4-1 lead but Detroit didn't quit. They fought back to make it 4-3. They ultimately ended up losing but I was impressed how they didn't fold. I am not seeing that determination from Ottawa.

I think the Minnesota game was a bit of an illusion. They aren't as good as that game made them look. They aren't as bad as they've been these past three games either. Somewhere in the middle.

I still wish and think they can make the playoffs but I have some issues with what I am seeing out there.

When they dont have the last change they really struggle when matched up and they really dont generate much.

I know there are a lot of injuries but when they are off they are really off

For example, Crosby had 6 seasons under his belt, a cup win, and 4 100 point seasons by the time his 23 year old season was here.

Sure, he's not Crosby, but generally superstar top draft picks forwards are what they are by 23, 5-6 years after being drafted.

Crazy how barkov, at age 24(1 year older than stutzle) won the Selke in 20-21 and put up 95 pts pace.

We were down late in the game and kept icing the puck. It's supposed to be the team holding the lead that is icing the puck barely holding on. But it was us, who were behind. Brutal.
