I remember West coast trips being the bane of existence since we would barely scrape a point out of them the last few years.

Good on us to take two from Anaheim

it kinda helps that we aren't taking as many of them this year.

Until this year, we had a different term for "West Coast Trips". It was "the Road Schedule". :D

I could only really watch the latter part of the second and then the third. That said: I could go a game or two without the Savard/Nikitin pairing. They've been a little brutal to watch at times with loooooong shifts in their own end, usually ending in a goal.

Don't you mean the Savage/Nikitin pairing? :D

I'm looking at the shot clock and I see SJ only have 13 shots and 0 in the 3rd and this is on home ice. They just need to shoot it from anywhere and see what Mason does.

True but this is kinda on Niemi. He let in 3 on 4 shots in about a 2 minute span, 2 of which were softies.

But yeah, the Sharks skaters have been pretty flat too.

I'm glad that it didn't bother you when Wiz-Murray pair was giving up goals against for like 20 games in a row. The pair was om the ice for a couple opposition team long shifts... Yeah, that's a reason to bench them.

*Mason is playing great*
*Voracek is Philly's 2nd best forward*
*Nash is New York's best forward*
*Johansen is a #1 center*

Howson is probably sitting somewhere in Edmonton, slowly rocking himself back and forth, saying "I told them it would be so... I told them it would be so..."
