OK, fine. But just for now, for argument's sake, a player position.

Well I have been saying for three years now a RHD but now that they have waited for three years the 2nd line winger has now emerged as a need as well as the backup goalie.

This was yet another game where a RHD playing out there eating up minutes wins the game.

This was yet another game where another scoring winger putting in a goal or not being Vatrano wins the game

This was yet another game where a backup goalie making a save when needed wins the game.

Sweeney has created more holes than repaired and his crappy product on the ice is on full display for everyone in yet another marquee game.

Failure top to bottom as a GM of a NHL team. He's a head scout, nothing more.

That was an awesome game to watch. I know it is improbable because there is probably only room for one, but I'm hoping for a leafs and bruins playoff series.

Teams are pretty evenly matched and definitely don't like each other much.

Anyway gg bruins fans.

I actually feel bad for Zane. How often do almost any player in the league pick a 6x6 inch top corner shot from well outside the dot. I know he has to save that no matter what but ****.

Bergeron and Pasta both with three points and 21 minutes of ice time. Bergeron seven shots, won 21 faceoffs. On a bum leg. Pasta had four shots. Marchand with an assist.

Krejci and Backes a combined -3 and four shots.

TOO LATE NOW ..But Bruins needs a top 6 forward and please get rid of Frank Vatrano..He is not no top 6 material.

Him and Czar are not NHL players Or at least not on 90% of the teams in the league. This lost is the best thing that could have happened to this terrible team. Poor goaltending, Defense and have one line of quality of players. and a coach that has his head up his ass and looks to be waiting to be fired. Dear in the headlights behind the bench.

What a mess top to bottom

If our bottom 9 didn't have 6+ 4th line grinders and Sweeney picked up another backup goalie this team makes the playoffs. Don't need to do huge moves that sacrifice the future to make this a playoff team. You can get in with some additions by subtracting dead weight with different players.

Still don't get why Claude hasn't separated Krejci and Backes yet. It's pretty clear to everyone they don't work together.

I can't believe we're still holding a playoff spot right now, like I know we've played a lot of games but how bad must the rest of the east be if they can't even pass this train wreck?

It needs to be said - when the Bruins finally shed the less than competent defensemen they currently employ, the plan appears to be replacing them with the drafted defensemen of the past two years.

I hope everyone took a good look at Toronto's defense tonight. They are what a young defense looks like normally.

THANK YOU.

I agree, if you are going to suffer do it through growing pains NOT giving completely redundant borderline NHL defenseman bloated contracts........

C'mon.....the 7 P's man..

Proper Prior Planning Prevents **** Poor Performance.

This whole incarnation is not and should not be on the forwards......

It is all on the upper management choices regarding the D core of this team.

It is a joke.

I believe the Bruins get their "bye week" very soon. Several teams will likely blow by them in the standings.

The David Line hurt us tonight. There's been too many games where they can't move the puck out of their own zone.

They also can't move the puck in the offensive zone..or the neutral zone for that matter.

Every pass they made seemed to get picked off, no matter where, no matter who.

This game was the real sinker for the season. And it is painfully clear that Julien is not the problem. Krejci and Backes address the main problem. Then you have dead weight like Beleskey, Schaller, Nash.. Spooner was ok tonight and Czarnik is a rookie.... uugggh terrible loss.

Check back in on the 20th. Should be where this trash heap deserves to be.

Maybe Riley Nash should learn to win a board battle for once in his life. He has costed us serious points here. Single handedly.

Trash player. Absolute TRASH. Dog dirt.

Thank You!!! My hatred for Nash is Beyond.... I hated him so much before this game, now my head is about to explode I hate him that much. 9 time out of 10 he makes the wrong play, had the perfect opportunity to clear the zone and thats what you give us ugh. Feel so bad for the rest of the guys that worked their ass off to get this game back to even. They must feel like they are out of answers.. Couching staff / management have made good decsions this season but blows me away Nash is still top 9. If they dont scratch him ill be pissed... Czarnik back in, and played good! Anyway.... I dislike nash.

Have to find away to unload those Beleskey, K. Miller and Backes contracts. Nash is not an NHL player, Sweeney start earning your pay cheque. Make sure you also hire the right coach when the season is over.

Disagree. Dude is a rookie who's been thrown into some terrible situations with a terrible team in front of him. Easily one of the Bruins most promising prospects.

Anyone used the loss tonight to prove fighting doesn't help a team win and that players like mcquaid are obsolete? ;)

Maybe we could just come with a blame checklist- it'd be easy enough to list the same old targets
