Swayman was great tonight. Great to see.

McAvoy led the team in ice time at 21:12 and had a goal.
Zadorov was second at 20:44 and a +2
Zacha led all forwards at 20:30 despite missing time from the high stick.

Penalty kill was great too.

I thought the refs missed a lot of infractions on Boston. The Marchand trip, the Zacha high stick, the Foligno slew foot on Pasta and then in the last two minutes Carlo had his stick chopped in half...

anyone else not a fan of the wagering comment that Judd made right after the Frederic goal?

Nice win but,

Zadorov can’t take that penalty in a 2-0 game
Wahlstrom with 2 offensive zone penalties was not good
Carlo is a train wreck
feels like the refs over call Zadorov, probably because of his size that he is noticeable. sadly I feel it hurts his game because he consciously plays more careful and hits less hard, etc

very good old school win. Makes you think as any seed they have a chance vs anyone. Minnesota not good offensively but still. Swayman looked great. McAvoy has looked really good since hes been back. Zadorov rounding into the Vancouver playoff guy, I still want to see Lysell up here with 63 and 28, I think an 11-51-13 line could be a very good 3rd line.

Mac looks so much better. For a month there, he seemsed to shy away from any contact and lost many one-on-one battles.

Have more babies is classic!

Osterlie and Callahan have helped fill huge voids. Need depth.

Pasta is just such a joy to watch and the ice seems to be opening up for Potsy.

That was just an enjoyable effort to watch

Very good game and effort, was a little worried the first 10 minutes or so when they hadn’t had a shot on net. Was definitely thinking here we go again. But the light switch seemed to all of a sudden turn on. Might have been one of their best for checking games this season.

I can’t understand the “ sell “ crowd when the Bruins are right in the mix . Bust up the team so one of Detroit , Columbus , Ottawa or NYI can make the playoffs while the Bruins sit at home watching . Like it’s really going to make a difference getting a draft pick for Frederic . I’m not suggesting they are about to go on a deep playoff run but I’m not sold on Washington. I have no problems with the Bruins getting a wildcard spot every year. Having great regular seasons hasn’t converted into great playoff success with this team .

From where we sit, he earned his calls.

Not unsure at all; we’re definite sellers

But show your work?

This year 20% of the team was new. All the lines and pairings were basically new. The coach is new. The system is adjusted. And THEN, we got all those injuries.

It's obvious that for a pile of games, 75% of the team was playing below their capabilities based on modest ppg totals. We KNOW Sway was playing well below his abilities for example.

Is it not even remotely possible that they're finally coming together? It's what, 9 games till the deadline? If nothing else the break might be poorly timed with them heating up. But let's see with Hampus back what this team has. Because I don't agree that they're definite sellers yet.

Great game. Loved the compete level and details in the D zone. First 10 minutes were rough, but THAT was a bruins style win that I’m used to watching.

I’m still not sure the team is worth investing in, but the emergence of Poitras has changed the equation. Not sure you can rely on that if they make the playoffs though.

I wish Hampus could’ve been back before the break. We would’ve had a clear answer of what this team is with him.
Was the first time in a loooong time that they pressured a team like that. Was fun to watch.

That was not the only slew foot, Minnesota, committed.

Team looks a million times better when Mcavoy is in. Hopefully Hampus can come back strong and give this team an even bigger boost. Solid team win last night.

At one point after he made another solid play i was just watching him and thinking I saw you play live in college and you are better in the NHL

I see why he made the AHL All Star team
There was one play when he was battling Foligno behind the net along with another wild player and he came away with it.

Not an easy task

Where has this version of the Bruins been all season? They played the entire game from the first puck drop to the final siren. Yes they had their share of brain dead plays (Wahlstrom!!!) but over all they played smart, tough hockey. I'd love for them to play just like this for the rest of the season.

Eye opener for me- Andrew Peeke's shot. I don't recall him having such a hard shot and I'd love to see it more often. Ditto for the other defensemen- even if the puck doesn't go in, the threat of a shot from the blue line keeps the opposing team from keying on the forwards which opens up the offense.

Let's go, Bruins!!! (Yeah, they're pulling me back in too)
