Trouba is effective on nights when his IQ is near the top of his range at a solid 90 but then some nights like the 1st and 2nd period he's floating at around 75IQ and just making stupid mistakes here and there but then when the team is in need of a jolt like the 3rd, he becomes effective again at 45IQ just being physical, throwing big hits, throwing pucks on net.
