If the Caps are smart they don't dress Wilson tonight.

They had 11 forwards & 6 defensemen dressed last game. Ovechkin took 1 shift and that was probably only to have him dressed as a player. They want to still win the division. I'm not sure if Oshie is out still, but Kuzy was just placed on covid protocol, and Ovechkin is out tonight. I'm not sure they can afford to not dress Wilson.

Isles fans coming in peace. Rangers will gain a lot of respect from me and many others if they come out playing physical tonight. Not going to get into retaliation, but making them play with their heads up a good start. You don't have the guns to go toe to toe enforcer wise, but need to send a message and hit. NHL's non response to Wilsons antics the other night is just an embarrassment to our sport. But this is a dirty chippy Caps team overall and Laviolette has made them more so. Hit hard and often and make them accountable. Cheers

Usually, these types of highly anticipated games disappoint.

This one somehow feels different, but looking through the Rangers depleted roster, it's hard to figure out how this can play out in a way to make Rangers fans happy.

Are you kidding me? I expect pure retaliation. Not in fighting, but a plethora of dirty plays and cheap shots, ESPECIALLY after the whistle. Anything goes after the whistle. At worst you get a $5000 fine for injuring somebody.

A bunch of Caps players should be in pain, limping our out for a couple of weeks. So what if NYR players do the same, they have time to heal up. Whatever happens, the Caps should be dead in the water before the playoffs. They deserve nothing else.
