Guess Smith gets beat up and were all supposed to be satisfied. Not me.

I've kinda of been an "ok with Quinn guy". Kind of a 51 for, 49 against. If Mason is not in the lineup that's gonna change.

And when one of our buttercups go out of their comfort zone and try to land a big hit on Backstrom, the Caps will come back harder on our skill guys and we will turtle up. Again.

The tears could very easily be flowing tonite when Fox or Kravstov get destroyed on a borderline hit.

That's my "speculative prediction".

My second prediction. Nothing happens. And that's worse to me.

Listening to NHL Radio and Mike Rupp was saying that how the Rangers respond tonite is HUGE. And that our younger players are going to be watching and hopefully learning about how a team is supposed to stick together. And if the Rangers don't it could very easily get into the kids heads.

U have to respond. I’m a firm believer. I grew up in Canada and played hockey my whole life. When this went on, u ran their goalie, hurt someone else, etc. If u don’t, it will happen again

The whole incident and the Rangers reaction will be interesting fodder for the NBCS TV crew. They are almost put on the spot to take sides. I can't see anyone with the intestinal fortitude to call out the hypocrisy of advocating fighting while opposing intent-to-injure amid a scrum. Sam maybe. Nobody of that quality exists on NBC's payroll. Dominic Moore, more than anyone, should have something to say, if he's even on the broadcast, but he will bite his tongue to protect his paycheck. It will end up that Kathryn Tappen, from Morristown, will likely have the most courageous response. We'll see.

If Laff, Kravy, Fox or even Zib gets concussed trying to play out of their element, then who does the responsibility fall on?

And again. Brendan Dillon plays a lot of minutes and can fight. Chara hopefully will take pity on us. Wilson is going to be laughing at us in warm ups.

Wonder who stands over Georgiev tonite chirping with no Ranger around. I honestly can't remember seeing that or playing in a game where that so blatantly happened.
Miller raced to the bench like his cup was on fire. If you didn't see it. Rewatch.

We should start the game with 6 players on the ice, no goalie. Call up the players we need for this game. You made the statement on paper now do it on the ice.
 
Islanders fan that has never "come in peace"...At 40 years of age today is the day, I wish you guys well tonight and I doubt it but I'm hopeful someone gives Wilson what he deserves. This clown should have been addressed years ago....A strong message was sent by ownership yesterday with the call for Parros head which I agree with wholeheartedly but was kinda shocked it happened. Good luck tonight, I think a lot of fans are ranger fans tonight.

Everyone in our locker room is seriously pissed, tempers will flare. oilers fan here that's going to be tuning in

Pride dictates something has to be done, and a 5 second staged fight that results in a take down isn't the answer

not only do you have to stand up against Tom wilson, after calling out parros there's no better way to get him fired then proving he's out of touch and could have prevented this

I'm not saying to kill the guy, but take good healthy borderline runs every chance you can against everyone you can

No, we all know what will happen. We wait for a boycott from the Rangers after the anthems, we wait for a Ranger steamrolling the goalie, make a low hip check on somebody to injure them, anything... but we all know under Quinn, nothing will happen. Wilson will probably just ragdoll and injure somebody else.

If there is no clear response in this game, I will be so extremely disappointed I don't know what to say. And I fully expect it. At the very least, I expect the entire Rangers team to play dirty all game. If any Caps players are injured, oops. "I guess I'll take my $5000 fine."

I know what I would've done if I was Quinn. The entire team would've practiced with wooden sticks yesterday. Who cares about puck control? Who cares about the puck at all? But I'm not Quinn.

Not sure about Smith. After his play and non response in the last game he probably knows he isn’t coming back. What’s his incentive to do anything. There is a chance his agent is reminding him not to get injured or suspended for a team he won’t be on. $$$ talks.
