Man, this whole week has been like a second Christmas with NYR hockey. My father had a heart attack at the start of the week so I've been grateful for 1) the schedule giving me some distraction, 2) a nice winning streak to go along with it, and 3) TANK

Pleasantly surprised with another game today, plus like 13 other games to boot LGR

Count me in for those heartfelt well wishes. Much stronger than the Kravtsov well wishes. Happy thing shave calmed down for you and Dad.

Play like the 1st period last night, not the 3rd period. Should be interesting. Hurricanes have been off for 10 days and the Rangers played and traveled last night.

So, see this being a fatigue and Rust type of game. Lol

If I remember correctly, we came out storming vs Calgary after same layoff. NO apparent rust. I see this as being a great, exciting game and hoping our legs dont fall off in the 3rd. Need a nice lead going into it though.
Canes shoot a lot, hope Halak can handle it. Thats what Shesty needs, MORE work, but oh well.

Canes don't worry me..we have always beat them..remember game 7.... over in the 1st period.... and I am not to convinced about Brindamore as a coach. The trade for Tank can only motivate Bread to do well. I loved how he took the penalty protecting Tank. A fired up Artemi is what we need to win the Cup.

They are a very good team and will get better at the deadline. We can beat them but it won't be easy. The east is going to be a bloodbath.

He played ok, just like most other games, but didn't really make an impact. There were a couple of plays last night where if he made a better decision or handled the puck better it may have resulted in a better scoring opportunity. I have serious doubts he will be on this team after the deadline.

It's been 28 years and It's all about the cup. If Smith didn't make those trades they may not have won it and they would still be chanting 1940. We will never know. Drury has been really good at deadline deals IMO so I don't see him doing anything stupid.

thought about driving up from Carlotte. $100 ticket to get in the door. other games for the canes this week are like $32 and $26.

It's early but Kreider and Trocheck have clicked well early.

I'm more optimistic that we will have our line combinations pretty much figured out by the playoffs than I was a week ago.

Team is starting to resemble the 2014 one but with more top end skill and less speed.

God Bettman, please stop with these stupid exclusive national games on NHL Network already. You are preventing a lot of out of market viewers from even watching the game. You could put these games on TNT and have better national coverage than NHL Network. I’ve probably been unable to watch at least 10 games this season because of these stupid exclusive blackouts on a channel I, and many others, do not have.
