Not saying they are going to win the cup but if they get Meier they are going to be trouble. They lost to us in 7 games in second round and were up 3-2. They can certainly get to the ECF at the very least. It just sucks that of the top 7 teams pointwise in the league 6 are in the east.

Eastern playoffs are the real championship. Only Dallas and the Avs really have a chance out west. Maybe Winnipeg if they get Toews or Meier. I prefer the Rangers path in the Metro than having to go through the heavyweights in the Atlantic

Have NHL package, new TV, looking forward to this. Just not looking forward to Tripp Tracy since they black out Rangers broadcast here! He does credit opposing players but a bit too much of a homer.

Playing a division rival on the back of a
B2b with the first game being against a team not even in the conference seems like dumb scheduling
Not to mention the travel
The whole schedule is a joke.

i like not playing Igor in this game. dont let Carolina get confidence against him or even get to see him at all before the playoffs.

He didn’t beat Carolina during the regular season last year (both losses came in march and April too.)

They scored like 10 goals in 7 games against him in may.

There’s no carryover.

I really hope Kravstov produces tonight and shows he’s a keeper.

Please before Drury makes a Neil Smith Doug weight ircTony Anonte type of trade.

Those moves helped win a Cup, so it wasn't exactly a disaster.

This reminds me of something my friends used to talk about.

Would you rather the Rangers win the Cup and suck for 10 years or be really good for 10 years, but fail to win a Cup?

The former, however there’s no guarantee that we would not have won one Cup or more with Weight, Amonte and Patrick in the line up.

Hey, if they did what I wanted it might be 82 years and counting today.

The kids or the PP will need to carry us to victory
Big game for Ex Cane Gauthier . Be nice to see him pot one ......he did make a dipsy doodle play once there last night ! I'd still like him on a line with Kreider but I also know the 4th line no spot for Kravtsov .

This team is now very hard to match up against

Each line is dangerous. I'd say we are deeper than both Carolina and NJ, but Carolina has played together for years and NJ is still not sure who they are.

Tonight should be a good test for where we are.

Need to be better defensively than the last 2 games, but we have also shown an ability to do that as well.

Man, this whole week has been like a second Christmas with NYR hockey. My father had a heart attack at the start of the week so I've been grateful for 1) the schedule giving me some distraction, 2) a nice winning streak to go along with it, and 3) TANK

Pleasantly surprised with another game today, plus like 13 other games to boot  LGR
Wishing your dad a full and quick recovery.

It’s not necessarily what I would’ve done seeing as the team didn’t exactly play great last night, but it’s hard not to agree. Players like Goodrow and Vesey shouldn’t look better playing in the same spot.
