Geo is super rusty. Neither goal was great to give up.
Laffy was very good. 3 passes that should have turned into goals.
Strome had another really rough period.

Did anyone notice when a Strome shot was saved and he got ready for the ensuing draw the MSG organ player played the theme from Succession? And um, JT Miller is also in the building. Meaningless but fun nonetheless.

Rangers actually played fairly well. Let down by bad goaltending and bad D coverage. Really worried about Strome/Panarin 2nd line right now. Just not getting the job done at 5v5. I don't know what's going on but I'm starting to get nervous when I see them out there against a top offensive unit.

Our inability to score over the past 4 periods is just baffling right now. Yeah there's been some great goal tending, but some of these chances really should be going in.
We looked good in O-zone and bad in D-zone.
Georgiev just isn't the answer for a backup. Neither goal is terrible for a backup to give up, but we need someone who at least looks like stopping one of them. I'm certainly not an expert but his technique really doesn't look great either.
Pretty sure Laf is cursed at this point

I'm pointing to GG for a lot of tonight's woes. Chytil, even when not being great, gives you far more versatility than McKegg. He could provide some semblance of a threat on PP2, he could also either replace Hunt or give a valid option for breaking up Strome-Panarin. Another option is switch Barron/Hunt for a period or 2

This is the frustrating thing about Gallant and reminds me too much of AV's lack of adjustments. Strome has been trending down the past 2 weeks and Laf is trending up. Why don't you play Laf on PP1 and boost his confidence even more?
