Mitts needs to be gone. Just for efforts sake.

He's a very bad fit. He needs to play a slow, cerebral game while Bednar's (only) gameplan is the complete opposite.

I'm starting to think that he's just not in a good enough physical condition to play for Bednar. Not unlike RyJo.

I just think 4 shots is too few for Mack. I think honestly that's my biggest complaint in this game. With Mikko gone he should be firing it at least 7 times a game now. Necas will drive the play more than Mikko ever has, maybe he's still getting used to that, but pull the damn trigger more.

Not only do I think he isn't in good enough shape, I don't believe it is physically possible for him to improve his skating.

Those types are insanely rare. Doesn't matter how hard he works at it or how many skating coaches he goes to, he will still be arguably a bottom-10 skater in the NHL and it will never improve.

Can't have that here.

Bednar's comments caught me off guard so I went and looked at the shift totals 5v5:

Mittelstadt and Parssinen each 14 shifts
Drury, Drouin, and Wood 15
Necas, MacKinnon, and Colton 16
Lehkonen 17
O'Connor 18
Kelly 19
Kiviranta 20

Three things to note here:

1) F*** me to MacK and Necas take long shifts. 1.5x TOI as Parssinen but only two more shifts

2) Parssinen and Fattie McSuck might not be in good enough shape for Bednar

3) God damnit does this guy get a f***ing hard-on for Kelly, Kiviranta and LOC.
