Such a bullshit argument.
In hindsight Bruins could have drafted Tage Thompson instead of McAvoy and then took Adam Fox instead of Frederic. Of course, there were about 20 other teams that could have done that too.

There is no goalie on this planet that would be having big numbers behind this.None.
I kinda watched the game last night. Was too busy being addicted to Balatro while the game was on beside me. Can't recommend that game enough for the gamers in here btw. It's crack in the form of digital code and easily my GOTY last year.
Back on topic, and to keep the theme of a video game analogy going; what i did i see of this game felt like when you play the toughest AI in sports games. Everyone once and a while the game just decides "no, f*** you, you lose this one." regardless of what you do. You see this in Madden a lot where the opposing QB decides to go 20/21 for 400 yards and 6 TDs regardless of what you do.
Boston would score, appear to be crawling back in it only for Buffalo to come down and immediately answer with a goal of their own. Can't really expect much from a team down their top 3 d-man (well, on paper anyway in Carlo's case) but god damn, Swayman can't stop every high danger chance.
Bad loss on paper but in terms of the grand scheme of things, not all that bad given everyone playing last night that was in the mix with them for the 3rd spot in the atlantic + wild cards lost so...glass half full?
As Mr-Make-Believe, this team is essentially a dice roll. They might drop 8 on the Jets tomorrow night, or they might lose 10-0. Who knows.

Hasek would. But to be fair, Hasek is also a cyborg sent back in time from the year 3000 to dominate this puny human sport they call hockey so that's not really fair.

Yes they need to makes moves but unlikely they will do anything based on one game when this was the defense.

We obviously disagree but look at his production this year. He has lost skill and you can't say he hasn't. This happens a decent amount to players on the cusp of their mid-30's. CC at say $2M on fourth line I could handle. Coyle in the top 6 at
5.25M is flat out bad.
This guy has absolutely regressed skill wise and it will get worse next year.
Again, I might agree with you, but don't you think that overpaying for a goaltender and not having anymore resources left to bolster the rest of your roster like replacing DeBrusk, might have helped. When, DeBrusk was here they still needed another forward .

Well Sweeney mistake started when he moved Ullmark before a deal was in place.Once that happened you are overpaying or going with a backup.No agent is not milking that situation.
Or, you don't overpay out the nose for Zadorov, which would have left them with enough money to go out and get a winger on the market.
You are right that was the start of this cluster f***.

Its only at home they win against good teams. That spells MASSIVE HOMERS.
The mental fortitude of a supposed good group of players is as weak as I have seen from this franchise since the 1970-71 Stanley Cup PO against Montreal.

When you are late covering guys like last night then you deserve 6 am bag skates.Might not have the skill needed to win a Cup but no excuse not skating and getting on right side of puck battles.Absolute laziness.And not taking a look before you dart to the same guy your teammate is covering is another big issue.Very poor IQ roster.

I'm pretty sure punishing grown men as if they are pee-wee players will accomplish a lot. If it's an IQ issue as you say, why in the world would bag skating them at the crack of dawn help? They still have the same hockey brains.
Lundell is good but not top 35-38 and Rheinhart is a RW in Florida.
Consistency at this pace is not indicative of a #1 center. Needs to be in the 1 pt per game pace. Do not see this happening.

We've had trouble with both services over the years (and both customer services suck).
We settled for Sasktel for the home (although my wife kept Rogers for her phone) and their internet has been flawless. * knocks on wood *
I hear Starlink is the cheapest and most reliable, but haven't looked into them yet.

Everyone's production is down ... I like what I see from him in comparison to the rest of the roster. I would be surprised if Hampus and/or Charlie don;t help with production. This is what I'm going to base my final judgement on. There's a massive difference between watching a guy like Coyle and ALindholm. One works hard to create and defend and the other is nowhere to be seen.
See, I don't think they are lazy as a general rule. I think they just have a team that for the most part doesn't work well together. Something is getting lost in the distance from the coaches whiteboard to the ice. Whether it's IQ, poor coaching, poor player chemistry, not enough talent to execute what is being asked of them, bad fits for roles (maybe all of the above), I don't know, but I don't agree that it's for lack of trying for the most part.

Well we can both agree this is not a good hockey team Sweeney assembled.Jammed against cap to boot.
Not sure if anyone has mentioned it, but this game was 60-40 in favour of the Bruins on the deserve-to-win meter.
Buffalo had 3.37 expected goals and scored 7. It would appear that Swayman was atrocious.
