Agreed. I don't buy into the "he's a staple and he deserves to play every game". He's decent for the most part but he hasn't made anyone expendable and definitely isn't a lock for next season.

He only played 25~ AHL games and nobody expected him in the NHL this year

Struble got walked on that one not much Allen could do. He didn't recognize how much speed Toropchenko had built up. Kid needed to step up a bit, and try to take him to boards.

People just never learn. Never. It's common that a kid comes in and does insanely well. Then expectations comes in. Then, the opposition knows you. And then, it starts dying down. How he adjusts...we will know next year.
