Because, we have stomped the Flyers, Devils, and Flyers all season long. Take out those games and we are terrible. Only chance to win hard games for past 2 years is if Zibanejad or Panarin have superstar performances.

You just can't do that because other teams beat up on them also. We are also 4-2 against washington.

THe core cannot play this type of hockey.

Quinn's faults aren't even in the top 5 of the teams issues. It's so weird how much its fixated upon.

I feel like some of the DQ stuff is grounded in a kernel or truth.

But then it’s exaggerated and added to, as if the criticisms aren’t strong enough to stand on their own.

And kind of like a game of telephone, by the time a few people get through with it, it doesn’t resemble the truth it was built around.

If allowed, I would trade Panarin for Point in a heartbeat.

I don't get anyone trying to argue Zibs over Point.

It’s tough to reconcile the disconnect between Quinn saying “East-West is a flu” with the players’ repeated doggedness to force it and come away with thinking Quinn is helping the situation.

Yes, roster construction is a big part of the reason the Rangers play the way they do. But if you are telling your players “cut the East-West”, and they keep...forcing East-West, how does that not indicate a problem?

So management has no problem with Quinn? yikes.
They have their "Zibanejad had covid" excuse, their "the team was young" excuse, and the f***in cherry on top, their "would have finished 4th or higher in any other division with the same points" excuse.

Not saying I agree with it, but knowing all that, and knowing the Rangers, I would say they're very happy with Quinn.

And I get it. For a young team, they had a solid season and can win some games. My problem is that, when a team comes in against us with a gameplan for us, whether it's a rival, Carolina in the play-in, or just Barry Trotz in general, we look like an AHL team. We can't have a guy getting outcoached this bad.

This is a joke of a performance I actually put on the draft. I hated that komarov goal and it’s been downhill from there. We just can’t respond to this team when they score first
