bout time for a rewatch of this whole series, haven't watched since it aired

IIRC we ended up losing that game 4-1 and it looked worse than that.

Don't let that get in the way of romanticizing past teams.

This has all the hallmarks of poor management. I believe David Quinn is the head in that area, since he's the head coach. There's a major disconnect somewhere.

In any area of life, if there's poor management, it's evident. Sure a 'group' that could police/coach themselves would be great.... but we're not that. So, considering Quinn is the head babysitter, he needs to have them in line and ready to go. It's been like this all season

BTW, is there a question in anyone's mind that Valiquette would 100 times the head coach Quinn is?

I think vally is an excellent announcer, but he also gets plenty of time to prepare for stuff between periods where coaches need time to adjust. I love dumping on Quinn but let’s do it for the right reasons/way.

Why is everyone ripping Quinn for the team being terrible (I didn't watch yet) for an entire period? Like grown men making millions of dollars are incapable of putting forth a better effort at literally any point, its all up to the coach with his effort dial on the bench or something.

I say some level of this a lot, but it's lot of blame to someone not on the ice.

It's not all on Quinn, but a majority of it is. But aside that, where's our C? Oh, we don't have one.
