Who. The Hell. Cares.

Maybe, just maybe we can get two of our lines running at once, and then we can cling to the ropes until the black magic surrounding this team dissipates.

And for god's sake, keep the puck deep for a change. Suddenly those point shots we drool over will mean something, might even have a lane open for once.

One thing I notice is the there seems to be hesitation when the shots are taken. Allowing defenders to get in the way and the goalie to get in position. Puck movement needs to be crisp tape to tape in order to get quick shots off.

Oh I agree, but them solely relying on screen shots/deflections/rebounds on the PP is purely stupid. It's so easy for teams to defend. All they do is take the shooting lanes away from the points and you stop their PP dead. Im pulling this number out of my ass, but im guessing less than 10% of the PP time is spent with the puck below the face off circles...either kopi has the puck on the half wall, or its being passed back and forth along the blue line.

Hell the Kings have THREE players near the blue line a TON during the PP...

Put Williams back with Kopitar and Carter with Richards. Too many forwards have been struggling since the line shakeups, only line looking alive is King-Stoll-Lewis.

Ive been saying this since a few games after they put Kopi with Carter. Williams has been invisible for weeks now, while before the changes he led the team in goals. Carter was still producing without Kopi. If williams is a product of Kopi, then ****ing put him with kopi.

It's amazing how everyone except the f'ing people in charge of the lines can see this.

The problem is 90% of the shots are coming from the points. Mix it up in a while, freakin try some cross ice one timers...The lack of creativity is mind boggling.

This is 100% coaching. The goal is to get point shots through traffic and go for deflections/rebounds. The Kings do not stress getting the goalie moving laterally. They don't do it all game and then the players don't look for it on the power play.

Also Jones in practice is great because with his positional/large/lazy:naughty: style maybe the Kings will learn this shot from point with screening the goalie is a crap idea for scoring goals.

Why isn't Carter in the Left face off circle on the power play or even at the left point? Sure I'd like Carter closer to the net, but I'd rather have someone on point, if that's where the shots are coming from, that can hit the net.

Edit: wow nice chip across the crease by the bruins to get a good scoring chance and draw a penalty.

I like that with the exception of I would switch Frattin and king as King, Stoll, and Lewis should play a bit more together.
Also I would change the would the cares line to Nolan and whomever he plays with.

Oh hey, the Bruins use a forward on the point who actually knows what to do with the puck and can setup the PP.

Stoll used to do a very effective job of this in Edmonton. Richards can run the point as well.
I am surprised Voynov and Doughty have not done better in this

Shades of 2012 with that forecheck for a few minutes there. We need to see much more of that.
